We know you want to give wisely. Here's everything you need to understand our program, trust our stewardship, and feel confident your gift makes a real difference.
OnRamp is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that shares God's grace by gifting reliable vehicles to hard-working people in need to partner with them on the road to self-sufficiency.
Churches, charities, healthcare providers, schools, and government organizations identify and nominate clients to us. Every client goes through an application and interview process. This isn't a handout; it's a hand up for people who are already working hard to build a better life.
Once a client receives a vehicle, our support doesn't stop. Clients receive ongoing prayer, mentorship, maintenance assistance, and connections to community resources for a full year after receiving their vehicle. We measure success not by number of cars donated but by our clients' long-term growth in savings, wages, education, and health.
Families across four communities have received reliable vehicles and a year of ongoing support from OnRamp since 2017. In 2025 alone, OnRamp gifted vehicles to 43 families in the Brazos Valley, 25 families in DFW, and 2 families in the Coastal Bend.
OnRamp holds Platinum certification from Candid (formerly GuideStar) and is independently reviewed by a CPA firm annually. Financial statements and 990's are available for download below.

Research shows that car ownership has a greater impact on a person's chances of employment than having a high school diploma. For many of our clients, a reliable vehicle is the single most transformative thing they could receive.
But OnRamp clients don't just get a car. They get a community. Every client receives one year of maintenance support and is cheered on by a network of volunteers, donors, and fellow clients who are on the same road.
